Toronto, ON — Light the Girl Productions is proud to announce that acclaimed producer Robin Cass has joined the team as Executive Producer for Everything Beautiful Is Not Ruined, based on the award-winning novel by Danielle Younge-Ullman.

Robin Cass is known for his celebrated work across film and television, with a career that spans critically acclaimed dramas, international festival favorites, and audience-winning hits. His feature credits include Oscar-nominated director Lone Scherfig’s The Kindness of Strangers starring Zoe Kazan, Bill Nighy, and Andrea Riseborough (Opening Night, Berlinale 2019), The Republic of Love based on Pulitzer Prize-winner Carol Shields’ novel, with Susan Sarandon, Christopher Plummer, Gabriel Byrne, and Max von Sydow, and High Life with Timothy Olyphant.

He also produced the iconic Lilies (winner of the Genie Award for Best Feature and inducted into the Criterion Collection), TIFF Audience Choice winner The Hanging Garden, and Falling Angels starring Miranda Richardson. On the television side, he executive produced the CBC/ Netflix global hit series Kim’s Convenience.
